Standards and Interoperability Initiatives
As part of a BNETAL consulting engagement, BNETAL has worked extensively with the Office of the National Coordinator (ONC) on its Standards and Interoperability (S&I) initiatives, with a focus on CMS Electronic Medical Document Submission (esMD) initiative. This is follow-on work to past work BNETAL performed with CMS on its esMD Phase I, where BNETAL provided subject matter expertise to development of the X12 Profile for esMD.

Pharmacy IT
BNETAL consulting has collaborated with NCPDP on its Connectivity and Security implementation guide development. The work with NCPDP has given BNETAL key insights into the pharmacy industry requirements, standards development leadership. BNETAL’s in-depth knowledge of NCPDP standards can be leveraged by Pharmacy Vendors and Health Plan vendors to send data to build interfaces that conform to NCPDP standards.
